موقع ArabiaWeather.com – سجلت منطقة سوياكو في جزيرة هوكايدو اليابانية يوم الاثنين 25-2-2013 أكبر تراكم ثلجي مُسجل في تاريخ السجلات المناخية في  اليابان، حيثُ تراكم 561 سم من الثلوج ، ليكون هذا رقماً قياسياً جديداً مُدوناً في سجل محطات الارصاد الجوية اليابانية.

 

منتجع سوكايدو يبلُغ ارتفاعه عن سطح الارض 890 متراً فوق سطح البحر، علماً بأن الرقم القياسي السابق المُسجل لدى الارصاد اليابانية هو 501 سم بتاريخ 4-3-2005 في نفس المكان.
