Sunday, May 3, 2026: The Kingdom will be affected by a Khamsin low-pressure system, accompanied by active southwesterly winds with strong gusts reaching speeds of 80-90 km/h in some desert areas, where dense sandstorms are expected in those areas. A dust wave will push across Egyptian lands to various regions, causing a decrease in horizontal visibility to varying degrees.

Unstable weather conditions will also develop, with partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms in random areas.

As the afternoon, evening, and night hours of Sunday approach, the Kingdom will begin to be affected by a surge of colder-than-usual air mass coming from behind the Khamsin low-pressure system. Therefore, a clear and rapid drop in temperatures will occur, and the weather will turn noticeably cold on Sunday evening and night/Monday, with temperatures at levels closer to winter, i.e., dropping below 10 degrees Celsius, with clouds appearing at different altitudes.
