Arab Weather - Tomorrow, Friday, the Kingdom bids farewell to the last days of "Winter's Forty Days," which this year was characterized by abundant and heavy rains, thanks be to God, in several regions of the Kingdom. After that, we will welcome on Saturday, February 1, 2025, the first days of "Winter's Fifty Days," which will continue for 50 days until Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Friday: The Kingdom bids farewell to the winter season with stable weather and periods of dust.
Regarding the latest weather forecast, Arab Weather experts indicated that temperatures will rise on Friday, the last day of the winter solstice, compared to previous days, becoming 3-5 degrees Celsius above average for this time of year. Temperatures will range between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius in the mountains, and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. The weather will be stable with the appearance of high clouds, and dust levels will increase, especially in the afternoon and evening.
During the night, the weather remains generally cold in all regions, with temperatures ranging between 9 and 12°C in the mountains, plains and desert areas, and between 15 and 17°C in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Saturday, February 1, 2026: Another rise in temperatures and varying levels of dust on the first day of the winter's fifty-day period.
On Saturday, the Kingdom will be affected by a warmer-than-usual air mass coinciding with the first day of the winter 50-day period. Temperatures are expected to continue rising, reaching 5-7 degrees Celsius above average. Maximum temperatures will range between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius in the mountains. Dust levels are expected to rise again throughout the day across all regions, but with varying intensity. Winds will be moderate southwesterly, with active gusts in the afternoon and evening.
Sunday, February 2, 2026: Temperatures reach their peak
On Sunday, the Kingdom will be increasingly affected by a warmer-than-usual air mass originating from North Africa, leading to a further rise in temperatures, reaching approximately 9–11 degrees Celsius above average for this time of year. The weather will be generally mild, with temperatures ranging between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius in the highlands and plains, and around 27 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea area, and Aqaba.
