The ball and the olive are an age-old love story that has accompanied the Korean people throughout the historical ages through about (15) thousand “old olive trees” in various regions of the Jordanian ball, whose ages range between 800 and 3500 years.
The number of olive trees is about one and a half million trees of different varieties, including local olives (Roman), Sorani,
Al-Khadiri, Al-Nabali, Al-Qanbasi,
Keratin, Kalamata, and Arbequina cover 34% of the total area, and are grown mainly in mountainous areas and on the banks of valleys.
