The fiftieth anniversary of summer in the collective heritage of the Arab Levant

Arab Weather - The Summer Fifty-Day: It lasts for 50 days, starting from August 1st until September 21st, when the astronomical fall season begins.
The summer pentecost was divided by ancient farmers and peasants into four Sa'uds based on the Sa'uds of the winter season, each Sa'ud lasting 12 and a half days.

Summer Saudis

However, the summer Saudis are not as well known to the people and the general public as the winter Saudis. The four summer Saudis are, in chronological order:

1. Saad Al-Yabis or Al-Yabas: from August 1st to 13th.
2. Saad Al-Yabas: “The one who makes you sweat so much that you cannot kiss or be kissed.” Saad Al-Shoub: From August 14th to 27th,
3. Saad Al-Shoub: "The one who makes you not want to wear the dress."
4. Saad Allahhab: From August 28 to September 9.
5. Saad Al-Lahhab: The one who makes you dance and salivate. Saad Al-Khabaya: From September 10th to the 21st.
6. Saad Al-Khabaya: Scorpions and snakes start to hide and disappear in it.

In the good old days, and far from the concepts of climate change, global warming and the catastrophic damage to nature caused by environmental pollution, the eastern farmer used to build his seasonal climate forecasts starting from the beginning of the "fifty days of summer" by exploiting the appearance of the "Zanbot al-Ray", the "Aslan" plant or "Ghaslan". If it appeared early in August, the rainy season would be early and good. However, if it appeared late until mid-September, the rainy season would be late and less than the general annual average. And God alone knows best.
