The National Center for Meteorology forecasts thunderstorms and dust-raising winds in several regions of Saudi Arabia.
Arab Weather - The National Center for Meteorology in Saudi Arabia expects that on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the weather forecast will continue with moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions, and its impact will extend to the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah region.
Rain will be light to moderate in parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail and Northern Borders regions , according to data from the National Center for Meteorology.
The center also indicated that active winds and dust storms will affect some areas, while the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in other areas, with thunderstorms appearing in some northern and southern parts of the Kingdom.

The authority calls on citizens and residents to take precautions, stay away from flood channels, and follow updates regularly, in order to preserve their safety.
