This low-pressure system will cause a sharp change in the weather conditions compared to what they are, as it is accompanied by a highly effective air front that will bring heavy rains to large areas of the Kingdom.

The following is a timeline of a low-pressure system that will affect the Kingdom on Friday, God willing:

Friday morning until Friday afternoon : A noticeably cold atmosphere prevails, clouds increase in the atmosphere, and rain falls in several areas. The rain is sometimes heavy, leading to the flow of valleys and streams and the occurrence of water accumulations.

Friday afternoon and evening: The low-pressure system will intensify, God willing, and a highly effective cold front will cross, resulting in cold, cloudy, and rainy weather in large areas of the Kingdom, including the governorates of Karak and Tafila. The rain will be heavy and accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail, leading to the flow of valleys and streams and the formation of torrents, including in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area, and possibly soil and rock erosion. Dense fog will also continue over the high mountain peaks.

Friday night/Saturday: The passage of the cold air mass associated with the low-pressure system that will be centered off the Syrian coast will be completed, and very cold and cloudy weather will prevail with rainfall in several areas, sometimes heavy. Low clouds will also pass, touching the ground surface, leading to the formation of dense fog over the mountain highlands. There is also a slight possibility of rain mixed with snow for a temporary period on the peaks of the Sharah Mountains.

Rainfall will gradually decrease during the late night and early morning hours in all regions, although it remains possible.
