Arab Weather - Readings from weather monitoring stations at the Arab Weather Center indicate active westerly winds in various regions of the Kingdom at this time, accompanied by strong gusts, with wind gust speeds reaching about 60 km/h at this moment, according to the monitoring stations.

God willing, during the coming hours there will be an additional and escalating increase in wind speed, reaching its peak during the afternoon and evening hours, with winds being active to strong in various regions, accompanied by severe gusts at times, especially in the eastern desert and eastern plains, where the speed of some gusts may approach 90 km/h locally.

These winds are also expected to cause sandstorms in various desert regions of the Kingdom, especially the southern and eastern regions, including the Badia areas, the Desert Highway, the Baghdad International Road and other main roads, which may lead to a decrease and perhaps even a complete lack of horizontal visibility at times.

In the eastern desert regions, it is advisable to secure lightweight and easily blown-away belongings, due to the high speed of strong and sometimes sudden gusts of wind.
