Arab Weather - The latest satellite images from the Arab Weather Regional Center monitor the first air depression that has been classified for this winter, which has the third degree, i.e. medium to highly effective. According to remote sensing systems, the air depression is currently centered to the northwest of the Syrian territories and is pushing more rain clouds to various regions from the north and center of the Kingdom, reaching Fanrat to Karak Governorate.

God willing, rain will fall at intervals. This rain will be heavy at times and accompanied by lightning and thunder in some areas, and perhaps heavy hail showers, God willing. Meanwhile, the areas that do not witness rainfall in the south and east of the Kingdom will be affected by strong winds and heavy dust waves that may reach the level of a sandstorm.

Tonight: Colder winds are flowing into the region, causing the low pressure system to deepen and its impact on the Kingdom to intensify.

The results of the advanced computer output analyses at the Arab Weather Center indicate that colder winds will flow to the center of the depression, which will deepen it and thus form more dense rain clouds over the Mediterranean Sea, which will head, God willing, to the Kingdom. Cloudy, stormy and rainy, God willing, in the north and center of the Kingdom, in addition to Karak Governorate. The rain will be heavy at times and will be accompanied by lightning, thunder and showers of hail, which may be dense at times over the high mountainous elevations.

The weather will turn very cold tonight in various regions, with the minimum temperature in the capital Amman reaching around 3 degrees Celsius. Low clouds will pass over the ground, causing dense fog to form over the high mountainous areas, leading to a decrease and perhaps complete absence of horizontal visibility at times.

A noticeable increase in wind speed on Wednesday night and Thursday day, accompanied by strong gusts.

God willing, with the deepening of the low pressure system during the hours of Wednesday/Thursday night and Thursday dawn, there is expected to be a noticeable increase in surface wind speed, as it will be strong, especially during the afternoon and evening hours, and will be accompanied by strong gusts at times that may exceed 100 km/h in the southern desert and mountains. Dust waves and dust storms are expected in the southeast and east of the Kingdom, especially in areas that have not witnessed rainfall. The phenomenon of moving sand on desert roads is also not excluded as a result of the high wind speed.

The Arab Weather website advises the need to secure lightweight and volatile objects from the roofs of houses, and it is also recommended to reduce speed while driving on roads that witness a decrease in horizontal visibility due to dust.
