The latest reports indicate that more than 10,000 hectares, or approximately 100 km², have been burned across approximately 28 locations. Another UN report indicates that more than 15,000 hectares have been burned, with hundreds of thousands of trees burned.

More than 8,000 people were affected.

The latest statistics indicate that approximately 8,500 people have been affected by the fires, which have spread across an area of 100 square kilometers, affecting approximately 34 locations across various regions along the Syrian coast.

Several reasons hinder rescue teams from controlling fires.
