موقع Arabiaweather.com - شهدت مُحافظة عفيف التابعة لمنطقة الرياض ظهر اليوم الخميس تساقطاً للأمطار الغزيرة المصحوبة بالبرق و الرعد، كما و تساقطت زخاتُ محدودة من البرد مع نشاطٍ كبير بحركة الرياح السطحية.
موجة الأمطار الرعدية الغزيرة التي شهدتها المحافظة عملت على رفع منسوب المياه في بعض الطرق الرئيسية، وهو الأمر الذي سبب حالة من الإرباك بين مُستخدمي الطرق.
وتأتي هذه التقلبات الجوية و الأمطار التي شهدتها عفيف ضمن تأثر الأجزاء الوسطى من المملكة بحالة قوية من عدم الإستقرار الجوي أطلق عليها اسم "وادقة"، وتُشير التوقعات الجوية الصادرة عن مركز طقس العرب الإقليمي إلى اشتداد الفعالية الجوية مع ساعات منتصف ليل الخميس/الجمعة على منطقتي الرياض و القصيم، بحيث تتحول الهطولات المطرية تصبح الهطولات المطرية شديدة الغزارة على فترات، مع حدوث البرق و الرعد و تساقط زخات البرد.
