Arab Weather - The latest computer simulations from Arab Weather indicate that weather disturbances are expected to return to southwestern Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, but will be concentrated primarily in the Jazan and Asir regions, God willing.

God willing, the opportunity is expected to arise during the afternoon hours of Tuesday 9/16/2025 for the activity of cumulus clouds to renew over the southwestern highlands, especially in the Jazan and Asir regions, accompanied by varying intensity of rain, thunderstorms, and hail in some areas.

Gradually, as the day and evening hours pass, cumulus clouds will extend westward to reach the Tihama regions and parts of the coasts, God willing.

These expected weather disturbances are the result of the intensification of the so-called "Sharqiat" winds towards the southwestern regions of Saudi Arabia. These are humid easterly winds in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere that cause the formation of cumulus clouds in conjunction with other atmospheric factors such as high mountains, daytime heating, and others.
