Cyclone Pebargui is making its way towards India and Pakistan and there are fears of flooding in many areas

Weather of Arabia - The latest satellite images delivered in the Arab Weather Center show the concentration of Cyclone Pebargui in the northeast of the Arabian Sea, and the wind speed is estimated around the center from 64 to 70 knots, and it is expected that the tropical state will cross on Thursday over the areas extending between the Indian coasts (Kojrat ) and the Pakistani coast (Karachi).

The tropical cyclone is expected to be accompanied by:

• Very heavy rains (200-800 mm) and lead to floods and large torrential runoff in the valleys.

• Strong winds exceeding 130 km/h.

• A very turbulent sea on the coasts extending from southern Pakistan and northern India, and the wave height is estimated between 6-10 meters, with sea water extending to land in low-lying areas.

It is noteworthy that the authorities of the two countries indicated that more than 22 thousand people were evacuated in the Pakistani province of Sindh and more than 20 thousand people in the Indian state of Gujarat.
