وبالرجوع إلى الأرشيف الخاص بدائرة عمليات الأرصاد والتنبؤات الجوية في مركز "أرابيا ويذر" نجد أن المملكة لم تتعرض لدرجات حرارة مُشابهة منذ نيسان الماضي وتحديداً في 20-22 نيسان إذ تعرضت المملكة حينها لمنخفض شتوي مُتأخر عمل على إنخفاض درجات الحرارة العُظمى لما دون الـ14 مئوية في عمان والصغرى إلى حدود 7 درجات مئوية وسط هطول أمطار جيدة، في حين تأثرت المملكة بفعالية ضعيفة في تاريخ 15-5-2013 عملت على إنخفاض العُظمى إلى مستويات مُشابهة للمتوقعة اليوم، لكن الصغرى لم تهبط عن 11 مئوية بعكس التوقعات لليالي القليلة القادمة بمشيئة الله.
