Jordan: 1142 new local cases of Corona, and 16 deaths

ArabiaWeather - (1147) cases of the new Corona virus were recorded, and they were distributed as follows:

• (1142) local cases, and they were distributed as follows:

- (647) in the governorate of the capital, Amman.

- (163) in Karak governorate.

- (116) In Zarqa Governorate.

- (62) In Al Balqa governorate.

- (52) in Jerash governorate.

- (30) in Madaba governorate.

- (24) in Ma'an Governorate.

- (18) in Ajloun governorate.

- (18) in Irbid Governorate.

- (7) In the Aqaba governorate.

- (5) In Mafraq governorate.

• (5) external cases, (4) among arrivals from outside the Kingdom, and one case for a Jordanian truck driver coming through the Omari Border Center.

This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to (26073) cases.

- (16) deaths were recorded, (may God have mercy on them), bringing the total number of deaths to (207) cases.

- (118) cases of recovery have been recorded today, in accredited hospitals.

(21948) laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of examinations to (1439205) tests.

Other actions:

• In light of the continued registration of local cases of infection, the Ministry of Health calls on everyone to abide by defense orders, follow safety and prevention standards, wear masks, and not hold gatherings for more than (20) people, use the (Aman) app, and the (Sahhah) app.
