أعلنت أمانة عمان الكبرى حالة الطوارئ القصوى اعتبارا من مساء بعد غد الثلاثاء للتعامل مع المنخفض الجوي.

ووفقا لنائب مدير المدينة للمناطق والبيئة، الناطق الرسمي باسم الأمانة المهندس باسم الطراونة، فإن "كافة المعنيين في قطاعات الأمانة على استعداد تام للعمل بكامل الطاقات"، لافتا إلى أن "إعلان الطوارئ القصوى يأتي عند تساقط الثلوج والأمطار الغزيرة وهو ما تشير اليه التنبؤات الجوية".

وأكد الطراونة أهمية التزام المواطنين بالإرشادات الصادرة عن الجهات المعنية بـ "عدم الخروج في حالات تساقط الأمطار الغزيرة والثلوج أو حدوث الانجماد إلاّ عند الضرورة القصوى لإفساح المجال أمام الجهات المعنية للعمل بأريحية".

وأشار إلى أن الأمانة ستستقبل ملاحظات المواطنين على أرقام غرف الطوارئ الرئيسية في منطقة تلاع العلي 5359970 / 06 أو5359971 /06 ، وعلى غرف عمليات مناطق أمانة عمان 22، داعيا المقاولين في قطاع الإنشاءات إلى عدم ترك الأتربة والاسمنت ومخلفات البناء وآليات العمل على الأرصفة والطرق كونها تلحق الضرر في قنوات تصريف المياه خلال تساقط الأمطار.

كما دعا المواطنين الى عدم ربط مزاريب الأبنية بطريقة غير قانونية على مناهل الصرف الصحي لعدم التسبب بفيضانات، لعدم قدرتها على استيعاب مياه الأمطار، كما دعا أصحاب المحال التجارية إلى التأكد من تثبيت اللوحات الإعلانية والأجسام الصلبة على الأسطح لضمان عدم تطايرها نتيجة الرياح المتوقعة.
