His Majesty pointed out the importance of developing the capacity building of ministries quickly to ensure the implementation of the vision plan, and preparing monthly reports on the level of achievement, according to the specified timetable.

The Prime Minister confirmed that the government has completed the steps required to institutionalize the implementation of the economic modernization vision to be a cross-governmental road map, pointing out that work on the vision’s executive program is progressing, despite all the surrounding challenges.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for Public Sector Modernization, Nasser Al-Shraida, explained that the implementation of 26 priorities for this year has been completed, and 53 priorities are under implementation, while work on 17 priorities has been delayed.

He added that the government held several ministerial meetings to overcome the obstacles that hinder the implementation of some overdue priorities, and work on 8 of them will be completed before the end of this year, such as the approval of the national strategy for the transport sector (2023-2027), and the establishment of a joint council from the water, energy, food security and environment sectors, to In addition to accelerating the approval of a number of legislations, the government has thus completed the implementation of 87 priorities out of 96 before the end of this year, while work on the remaining eight priorities will be completed before the end of the first quarter of next year.
