Injuries, recovery and checks:

• Today (38) new cases of coronavirus were recorded, including (7) local cases and (31) non-local cases, as follows:
• (6) Cases of contact with two injured people in the Capital Governorate.
• One case from Jerash Governorate is currently being investigated.
• (4) Cases of non-Jordanian truck drivers arriving across Al-Omari boundaries, which were dealt with according to the established protocol.
• (27) Cases of Jordanians coming from abroad residing in Al-Hajar Hotels. (19 from Egypt, 6 from Kuwait, 1 from the Emirates, and 1 from Oman).
• This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 953.
• - 7 cases of recovery were also recorded for this day, (5) in Prince Hamza Hospital, and (2) in Queen Alia Hospital.
• - (9724) laboratory tests were performed today, which is the highest number of daily examinations recorded so far, within the framework of the expansion of conducting examinations in conjunction with the opening of the sectors, thus bringing the total number of checks conducted to date (266873) examinations.

Other actions:
- The supervisory authorities continue to intensify their campaigns to inspect commercial, industrial, tourist and service establishments, to ascertain the extent of compliance with safety and prevention measures, and to register violations that reach the closure level for non-compliant establishments; Therefore, the government emphasizes the facilities that compel their employees and users to wear masks and maintain physical spacing in order to maintain the safety of all.
Today, Saturday, the process of transferring the returning Jordanians to Jordan (by land) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began, as it arrived across the borders of Al-Omari (150) Jordanians and Jordanians, and the process of transferring others will continue in the coming days.
