Jordan | Monday's maximum temperatures may be the lowest in nearly 90 days in the capital Amman

Arab Weather - On Monday, the Kingdom will be increasingly affected by the moderate air mass, and thus temperatures will continue to drop further to be lower than usual for this time of year by about 2-4 degrees Celsius. A semi-autumn weather will prevail, tending to be cold in the early morning hours, and pleasant to moderate in temperature in various regions for the rest of the day, although we are still in the summer season from an astronomical point of view. The winds will continue to be northwesterly, moderate in speed, and will become active in the afternoon.

Monday's maximum temperatures could be the lowest in 89 days in eastern Amman

As temperatures drop on Monday, highs are expected to be in the mid-twenties Celsius to slightly higher over the high mountainous areas, including the capital Amman, while reaching the late twenties in the rest of the lowlands, and touching the late thirties in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Maximum temperatures in eastern Amman are expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius, the lowest in nearly 89 days. The Marka area, east of Amman, recorded a maximum temperature of 26.6 degrees Celsius on 6/19/2024 . For more on the expected weather conditions in the Kingdom on Monday, click here.
