  • The region continues to be affected by similar systems, but less frequently, represented by the approach of Khamasin depressions that bring tangible and large increases in temperatures at first, followed by the rush of cold air masses behind them, causing temperatures to return to winter-like levels. Long-term climate models and analyses suggest that colder than usual air will continue near the Kingdom until late in the season, which may develop into a depression or perhaps into unstable weather conditions as a result of the activity of the Red Sea depression.
