Jordan: Cold weather at night and fog expected in these areas

Weather experts at Arab Weather predicted that the Kingdom will be affected tonight by cold weather in various regions, with temperatures ranging between 6-8 degrees Celsius in the mountainous highlands, while they will be between 3-5 degrees Celsius in the desert regions and eastern parts, with a chance of limited local showers of rain.

Dense fog and possible frost

According to the latest updates, dense fog is expected to form at times in the desert areas and eastern plains, causing a decrease and possibly a complete lack of horizontal visibility. Frost is also possible in the early morning hours on the high southern mountain peaks and parts of the desert.

Stable and cold weather on Sunday

As for Sunday, forecasts indicate that the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging between 12-16 degrees in the mountains, while they will be between 18-20 degrees in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with a high chance of dense fog forming at times, especially in the desert areas and the eastern plains.

These circumstances warrant the following recommendation:

• Be careful while driving due to heavy fog in the morning, especially in the eastern plains and some desert roads.
• Wear warm winter clothes to cope with the drop in temperatures.
