Jordan | The desert road was cut off in front of vehicles in the Al-Obeid and Al-Zamila areas due to dust

Weather of Arabia - The Public Security Directorate announced on Thursday that all roads in the Kingdom are passable, except for the desert road, the Al-Abyad road towards Amman, and the opposite is closed due to strong winds, thick dust, and the extent of visibility is non-existent.

The directorate confirmed in a press statement that the public security men are on the road to serve and guide them and will work to open the road when weather conditions permit, calling on everyone to comply with their directives and instructions. for their safety.

The Public Security Directorate also warned of the expected depression, calling for the need to be careful during the change of weather and the accompanying increase in wind speed or the formation of torrential rain, by following the following advice and instructions:

• Be careful while driving, especially on external roads that may witness the formation of dust and dust-laden winds.
• Installing objects that can be blown away by the wind, such as panels and metal sheets, on the roofs of houses.
• Staying away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents and water gatherings form, and not to risk cutting off the road in case the water level rises.
• Safe use of heating devices of all kinds and provision of appropriate ventilation from time to time.
• Call the unified emergency number (911) if the need arises.
