Jordan: Weather updates and chances of rain in the coming days

Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that the Kingdom will be affected on Friday and Saturday by the extension of the Red Sea depression, God willing, causing temperatures to rise before dropping significantly on Sunday.

Weather updates and chances of rain in the coming days are as follows:

Friday, December 5, 2025: Temperatures will rise slightly, with generally mild weather across most regions, and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium and high-level clouds will gradually increase, and scattered showers are possible in limited areas of the Kingdom during the evening and night. Motorists are advised to be cautious of slippery conditions in areas that may experience rainfall.

Saturday 12/06/2025: The weather will be generally moderate, and the Kingdom will be affected, God willing, during the evening and night hours by a state of atmospheric instability, as cloud cover increases and there is a chance of thundery showers of rain over random areas of the Kingdom, especially the southern ones, including Aqaba, Rum and the surrounding areas.

These showers can be heavy in some geographical areas, leading to the formation of flash floods and the occurrence of water accumulations, especially in some southern regions. Therefore, it is advised to stay away from valleys, flood channels, and places where water usually collects.

Sunday, December 7, 2025 : The Kingdom will be affected by a relatively cold air mass. Temperatures will drop noticeably to become slightly below average, and the weather will be relatively cold in general, with the possibility of rain showers in some areas, especially in the desert regions.
