Jordan | Ayla Red Sea Half Marathon Race Date

Arab Weather - The Jordanian Marathon Association "Run Jordan" announced the date of the eighteenth edition of the "Ayla Red Sea Half Marathon", scheduled to be held under the patronage of His Highness Prince Firas bin Raad on Friday, the 6th of next month in the city of Aqaba.

This event comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Jordanian Marathon Association to enhance community awareness of the importance of running and support charitable institutions, under the slogan “Run for Noble Purposes.”

Lina Al Kurd, the association’s general manager, explained that the marathon reflects the association’s vision to promote a healthy lifestyle and spread the culture of sports, noting that they look forward to receiving an elite group of Jordanian runners and wide participation from Arabs and foreigners. She added that the event represents a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of Aqaba and support sports tourism.

In a humanitarian gesture, Al-Kurd confirmed that 20% of the registration fees will be allocated to support the people of Gaza through the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, which adds a national and humanitarian dimension to the marathon.
