Arab Weather - With the beginning of the first day of September, the regions in the northern hemisphere of the Earth began to welcome the autumn season climatically or as it is known in meteorology, as the sun gradually begins its apparent journey towards the Tropic of Capricorn, away from the Tropic of Cancer, and the length of the night hours gradually increases in the northern hemisphere of the Earth until it is equal to the number of daylight hours on the day of the autumnal equinox, which falls this year on September 22, 2024.

Today, Sunday, the Kingdom began to receive the autumn season, meteorologically, with moderate and humid weather and the appearance of low clouds. The temperature at Amman Civil Airport, east of the capital, recorded 29 degrees Celsius, which is considered the lowest in the Kingdom since 2011, i.e. in 13 years.

Weather forecasters at "Arab Weather" said that the beginning of September with humid and moderate weather does not necessarily mean that rain is close to the Kingdom, as September is characterized by its frequent fluctuations, especially in its last days. Current forecasts indicate that the weather in the Kingdom will remain moderate and humid during the day for the remainder of the current week and tend to be cold at night, with the continued appearance of low clouds and weak chances of rain falling on the Kingdom in general due to the weakness of the upper influence and its distance from the Kingdom's atmosphere, as the effect of the rain clouds accompanying the upper basin is limited to parts of the coastal areas in the Levant.

What does the forecast say about the chances of rain in the second week of September?

Weather forecasts in "Arab Weather", especially those related to the long-term period, indicate that the initial indicators of rainfall or the Kingdom being affected by instability in the second week of September are considered somewhat weak so far, as the weather systems do not indicate that the upper basins are deepening towards the Kingdom sufficiently to cause sufficient temperature differences to create instability over the region, in addition to the weak indicators of the activity of the Red Sea depression and its extension towards the Kingdom during the current period.
