Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs announced the death of six Jordanian citizens while performing Hajj rituals, on Saturday, as a result of heatstroke.

The Ministry stated that the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs is following up on death cases, explaining that coordination is underway with the competent Saudi authorities regarding the procedures for burying pilgrims and transporting the bodies of those whose families wish to be transported to Jordan as soon as possible, in cooperation with the Consulate General in Jeddah.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the six pilgrims, noting that they are not part of the official Jordanian Hajj delegation.
