Meteorology: Weather warnings issued for Tuesday include 8 regions, including Riyadh and the Eastern Province

The National Center for Meteorology issued a series of weather warnings, including for parts of the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and the Northern Borders, as a result of being affected by scorching temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius in some areas, and thunderstorms, strong winds, and dust storms in other areas.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, with varying levels of warning between orange and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.

Eastern Region:

• Red alert: None
• Orange alert "Heatwave 50°C": Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq
• Orange alert "Heatwave 48°C": Jubail, Dammam, Khobar, Qatif, Ras Tanura
• The yellow alert for "blowing dust" includes: Al-Ahsa, Abqaiq

Northern Border Region:

• Orange alert - strong winds including: Al-Rais, Yanbu
• Yellow alert - Heatwave 48°C: Al-Ais, Badr, Wadi Al-Fara'

Makkah Region:

• Red alert : None.

• Yellow alert for light rain: Adham, Maysan, Taif, Al-Ardiyat

Al-Baha region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange alert: None.
• Yellow alert - Light rain includes: Al-Baha, Baljurashi, Al-Qura, Al-Mandaq, Bani Hassan

Asir region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange Alert - Moderate to heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning affecting: Al Namas, Balqarn, Tanomah, Rijal Alma, Mahayil, Al Majardah, Bariq, Al Harjah, Ar Rabwah, Al Farsha, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al Janoub, Abha, Ahad Rafidah, Khamis Mushait
• Yellow alert - Light rain including: pools, slums

Jazan region:

• Red alert: None.
• Orange alert: None.
