Meteorology: Weather warnings issued for Sunday include 9 regions, including Riyadh and the Eastern Province

The National Center for Meteorology issued a set of weather warnings, including parts of the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Asir, Al-Baha, and Jazan, as a result of being affected by active to sometimes strong winds that stir up dust, sand, and dirt, in addition to the possibility of rain in some areas.

These warnings will continue until 9:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2026, with varying levels of warning between orange and yellow depending on the severity of the weather conditions in each region.

Makkah Region:

• Orange alert includes: None
• Yellow alert "light rain" includes: Maysan
• The yellow alert "blown dust" includes: Al-Khurmah, Al-Muwayh, and soil.

Medina region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• The orange alert includes: None.
• Yellow alert "blown dust" includes: Al-Hanakiya, Al-Mahd

Hail region:

• Red alert includes: None
• Orange alert includes: None
• The yellow alert includes: Al-Hait, Al-Sulaimi, Al-Shamani, Al-Ghazala, Muwaqq, Al-Shanan, Baqaa, Hail, Samira.

Al-Qassim region:

Asir region:

• The red alert includes: None.
• Orange alert for "moderate rain" including: Abha, Ahad Rafidah, Khamis Mushait, Rijal Alma, Mahayil
