Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the southern regions: Thunderstorms that may be heavy require attention due to flash floods tomorrow afternoon.

Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest updates from what is called computer simulation indicate that the Kingdom will be affected by a state of instability gradually starting Sunday afternoon, as clouds increase at various altitudes and the opportunity is prepared for random thunderstorms and rain showers, God willing, concentrated in the southern regions of the Kingdom. There is a fear of the risk of flash floods and the flow of valleys in those areas.

The southern regions, including the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, have good chances of rain on Sunday afternoon and evening.

God willing, the effects of the atmospheric instability are expected to be concentrated during the afternoon and evening hours of Sunday 4/5/2025 in the southern regions of the Kingdom, where clouds will multiply at different altitudes, and thunderstorms will fall on several areas. Some of these showers may be heavy at times, including the city of Aqaba, as well as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, the mountains, and the surrounding areas, including Petra and Wadi Musa. It is not unlikely that the rain will be accompanied by hail showers in some geographical areas, which will lead to the flow of valleys and ravines and perhaps the formation of flash floods.
