هذا ويتوقع أن تبدأ الأمطار بالهطول على العاصمة السورية دمشق ، قبل منتصف ليلة الاثنين - الثلاثاء ( بين9:30 و11:00 ليلاً ) ، وتشتد لاحقاً وفجراً وتستمر صباحاً وخلال فترة الظهر على فترات ، مع توقعات بتشكل السيول ، بينما تهطل الثلوج بكثافة على الجبال فوق 1100م عن سطح البحر وتكون تراكماتها كبيرة فوق 1300م عن سطح البحر . ( قد تمتد الى 1000م على شكل ثلوج غير متراكمة )
يحذر من خطر تشكل السيول في دمشق وريفها الغربي والجنوبي الغربي ، بالإضافة لأجزاء من القلمون الشمالي والشرقي ، كما يحذر من الانزلاق نتيجة تساقط الثلوج فوق جبال ريف دمشق فوق 1000-1100م ،وتراكمها فوق1150- 1200م ، وتراكمها بسماكات كبيرة فوق 1400م عن سطح البحر وتشمل مرتفعات ريف دمشق الغربي والجنوبي الغربي والشمالي الغربي ، وأجزاء من القلمون الشمالي ان شاء الله .
