ArabiaWeather.com - The United Arab Emirates ranked second in the list of countries that use the Internet the most in terms of population, with 92% of the total population using the Internet. This is according to a study conducted by the We Are Social website.

The study notes the absence of Arab countries from the list of the 10 countries with the most widespread use of the Internet, with the exception of the UAE, which appeared in second place.

The study indicates that smart phones will raise the percentage of Internet use to more than 50% of the world's population, by mid-to-late 2016, and the percentage of social networking sites users to a third of the world's population by the end of 2015.
