Fog may be thick and alert of low visibility and lack of horizontal visibility in some areas

It is expected, God willing, that fog will form on a daily basis during the coming nights, so that it is not excluded that the fog will be dense, especially in the second half of the week, which will cause a decrease and possibly a lack of horizontal visibility. Fog forecasts include large areas of the country, especially the western interior and include opportunities Fog in Madinat Zayed, in addition to the interior parts of Abu Dhabi on some days, and opportunities may extend towards parts of Dubai, especially with Tuesday morning hours.

The fog begins to form during the late night hours and dawn, and continues until the morning hours before it begins to gradually fade due to sunrise and rising temperatures.

The weather forecast staff at the Arab Weather Company advises, under foggy weather conditions, to:

1- Reducing the speed as much as possible, because increasing the speed increases the risk of getting involved in traffic accidents during foggy weather.

2- To ensure clear visibility of all glass surfaces in the car, be sure to clean all windows well before driving in foggy weather.

3- Leave a safe and sufficient distance between you and other cars on the road to avoid collision, God forbid.

4- Do not stop suddenly on the road while driving in foggy conditions, because a sudden stop on the road in the midst of fog may make it more difficult for other cars to see your parked car on the road and increase the risk of them colliding with it.

5- It is recommended to use car lamps with lower or medium illumination power while driving in the midst of fog, because the lamps that operate at their maximum illumination power will not increase visibility in the fog, but will cause a strong light reflection in your direction.

6- Do not try to pass other cars, especially in thick fog, so as not to run the risk of hitting other cars.
