This atmospheric disturbance is the result of a deepening upper wave from the north, coinciding with the flow of warm, humid air currents from the south in the upper and middle layers of the atmosphere.

Tonight, cumulus cloud formation is expected to slow down due to lower temperatures and the absence of temperature differences. Therefore, the chances of rain are expected to decline significantly, while the chance of scattered showers remains in limited areas of the southern and central regions of the Kingdom. Moderate to pleasant weather will prevail across all regions.

Rain chances resume on Monday

Tomorrow, Monday, God willing, moderate weather will prevail in all regions during the morning hours and until the hours before noon, and the Kingdom will gradually be affected by unstable weather conditions during the afternoon and evening hours. Cumulus clouds are expected to multiply in parts of the southwest of the Kingdom, the Qassim region, southern Hafar Al-Batin, and northern Riyadh, accompanied by chances of thunderstorms and occasional hail, with indications that rain chances may extend to neighborhoods of the capital, Riyadh, God willing.

The atmospheric disturbance is accompanied by active winds, especially in areas experiencing rainfall and the formation of cumulus clouds, or what are known as downdrafts, which are strong and sudden and cause dust storms and dust waves.
