Autumn begins on Rabi' al-Thani 1, 1447 AH, corresponding to September 23, 2025, with a gradual transition from the summer heat to moderate weather across various regions of the Kingdom.

Wasm season and good rains

Al-Hussaini points out that the Wasm season, one of the most important rainy seasons in Saudi Arabia, begins on Rabi' al-Thani 24, 1447 AH, corresponding to October 16, 2025. The season is known for its heavy rainfall, which helps revitalize the land and renew agricultural activity, making it a vital season for farmers and citizens.

The square and the harsh winter

The Al-Murabba'aniyah season, known for its cold and long nights, begins on 16 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH, corresponding to December 7, 2025. It will be followed by astronomical winter on 2 Rajab 1447 AH, corresponding to December 22, 2025, bringing the Kingdom into extremely cold weather for several months, affecting daily life, agriculture, and travel.
