Al-Zaaq | Unusual weather phenomena this winter and the rains that fell were summer!

Weather of Arabia - Dr. Khaled bin Saleh Al-Zaaq said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently witnessed a group of unusual weather phenomena, including summer rains in the middle of winter.

Al-Zaaq said that the summer rains are characterized by the size of the rain grains and the abundance of precipitation, as the clouds take on a cumulative character that is accompanied by hail showers, and this is what actually happened during the current winter.

Al-Zaaq also stressed that the summer rains are characterized by their thunderstorms, and noted that all these characteristics were characteristic of the rainy periods that affected the Kingdom recently, even in the midst of winter.
