According to the latest update of the Arab Weather app this morning, many regions in the Kingdom will remain affected by atmospheric instability between Thursday, September 18, 2025, and Saturday, September 20, 2025, leading to the formation of thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensity.

In detail, according to the latest computer modeling outputs available through the Arab Weather app, cumulus clouds are expected to increase daily during the afternoon hours over parts of the highlands of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha during the weekend. They will quickly develop into thunderstorms, accompanied by showers and downward winds.

Meanwhile, the weather fluctuations and chances of rain are expected to extend on Saturday to parts of the Taif highlands and eastern Makkah region. These areas are expected to experience varying degrees of rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, and may be heavy in limited areas.
