Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf - The latest output of the computer simulation systems for wind movement shows the possibility that the eastern sector of the Kingdom will be affected by a remarkable activity for the Al-Bawareh winds during the weekend, so that it begins to gradually affect from Friday, to intensify and become more comprehensive on Saturday.

Areas covered by Al-Bawareh winds and dust on Friday and Saturday

It is expected that the southern parts of Iraq, in addition to Kuwait and the entire eastern sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Gulf region, will blow active northwesterly winds with strong gusts at times. Al-Batin, Al-Khafji and the border areas with Kuwait all the way to Al-Ahsa and Al-Hofuf, and extending to the east of Riyadh.

Important tips for dealing with dusty weather

• It is advised to avoid traveling between the east and center of the Kingdom during the period of dust impact.
• Driving carefully and at a speed commensurate with the expected decrease in the range of horizontal visibility.
• We advise patients of the respiratory system and eyes to follow the necessary precautions to deal with such weather conditions.
• Not to wash vehicles a day, starting from Thursday, due to the expected dust.
