What is "intimate cold"?
The answer: Al-Humain season, which was formerly known as “sammak”, which is the last season of spring, and extends for 26 days. The season of Al-Hamein (Al-Sammak) is considered the last cold season, and therefore the people say:
“O our Lord, O Most Merciful, stop us from turning away the intimate ones.”
