Thunderstorm clouds may form locally in some of the highlands of Jizan and Asir

Gradually, during the noon hours, amounts of clouds appear on some of the mountain highlands of Jizan and Asir, and the opportunity opens for thundershowers of rain in the afternoon hours.

The winds are moderate northerly in most areas, and active westerly monsoons blow with sometimes strong gusts on the coasts of Tihama and its interior parts, the southwestern coast of Saudi Arabia, including the governorates of Al-Laith and Al-Qunfudhah, extending to the coasts of Jazan and some of its interior parts, all the way to Najran, causing dust to stir up.
