Saudi Arabia ranks second in the world in the `Nikkei Index` to recover from Corona... and other Arab countries are at the forefront of the list

Weather of Arabia - Saudi Arabia ranked second in the world, according to the Japanese "Nikkei" index of recovery from the Corona virus (Covid-19), in terms of infection management, release of vaccines and the return of activities.

This global classification comes in conjunction with the number of vaccine doses given in the country, which amounted to about 40 million doses, according to data from the health authorities in the Kingdom.

The Nikkei COVID-19 recovery index ranks more than 120 countries and regions in managing infection, launching vaccines and returning to social activities at the end of each month. A higher ranking indicates that a country or region is closer to recovery with lower numbers of confirmed cases, better vaccination rates and less stringent social distancing measures.

Qatar ranked fifth, the UAE ranked eighth, and Jordan ranked 26th globally. Here is the list of countries according to the latest update (end of August).
