Saudi Arabia: Satellite images reveal thunderstorms extending from Makkah to Madinah.

Arab Weather - Arab Weather satellite images are currently monitoring the development of thunderstorms extending from Makkah to Madinah. The same satellite images also indicate that thunderstorms are concentrated east of Makkah and south of Madinah, accompanied by rain of varying intensity.

According to activists on social media, heavy thunderstorms were observed in the Al-Yamaniah region east of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the western Al-Shafa region in Taif. Heavy thunderstorms were also observed south of Madinah, specifically in the Wadi Al-Fara’ area.

The latest weather maps issued Friday afternoon indicate that the chances of thunderstorms continuing over the next hour, God willing, over parts of the southwest of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunderstorms of varying intensity and strong winds that may sometimes stir up dust, with the chances of them weakening during the late evening and night hours.
