Jordanian Health: 42 deaths and 5,256 new cases of Corona virus were recorded in the Kingdom

Arab Weather - Today, Monday, the Ministry of Health announced that 42 deaths and 5,256 new infections with the Corona virus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the total number to 12,024 deaths and 1015289 injuries.

The percentage of positive tests for this day reached 9.38 percent, according to the media brief issued by the ministry

The summary indicated that the number of currently active cases reached 66,323 cases, while the number of cases that were admitted, today, to hospitals, reached 214 cases, and the number of cases that left hospitals 150 cases, while the total number of confirmed cases receiving treatment in hospitals reached 1314 cases.

The summary showed that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 32 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 53 percent, while the occupancy rate of artificial respirators in the same region was 31 percent.

He added that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the central region reached 33 percent, while the occupancy rate of intensive care beds in the same region reached 44 percent, and the occupancy rate of artificial respirators reached 23 percent.

In the southern region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 10 percent, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds was 11 percent, while the occupancy rate of ventilators in the same region was 12 percent.

The summary indicated that 4,977 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of expected recovery cases after the end of the isolation period (14 days) to 936,942.

He also indicated that 56,041 examinations were conducted, bringing the total number of examinations conducted since the beginning of the epidemic to 12,789,140 examinations.
