ArabiaWeather- بسبب كميات الامطار الكبيرة الهاطلة منذ بداية الشتاء ، سجّل منسوب بحيرة طبريا ارتفاعاً قياسياً لم تعرفهُ البحيرة منذ زمن طويل، حيث سيعمل استمرار تدفُق مياه نهر الاردن و السيول و الجداول المُنتشرة في المنطقة إلى ارتفاع منسوب البحيرة منذ بداية فصل الشتاء الحالي إلى 2 متر.
كما سُجل في البادية الاردنية تجمُع كميات كبيرة من المياه في المنطقة المعروفة سابقاً بواحة الازرق التي تم تجفيفها، حيثُ تُظهر صور الاقمار الاصطناعية ظهور مُسطح مائي ضيق المساحة في نفس مكان الواحة سابقاً و ذلك نتيجة اندفاع السيول من مناطق البادية الشمالية المُختلفة جراء الهطول المطري الغزير مؤخراً.
كما تسبب الهطول المطري القوي في زيادة تدفُق نهر الاردن بشكل كبير و صب كميات جيدة من المياه داخل البحر الميت دون وجود تقارير عن منسوب المياه فيه.
