The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was not immune to this, as the deepening of the tropical high in the atmosphere of the Arabian Peninsula increased, pushing warmer winds than usual, which led to a significant rise in temperatures, and many regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recorded temperatures in the forties, including the capital, Riyadh. Up to 45 degrees in the Empty Quarter desert.

In recent weeks, the Republic of Iraq was affected by a low temperature that led to a significant rise in temperatures, reaching 40 degrees Celsius in the capital, Baghdad, amid very hot conditions and approaching the mid-forties in the south, with expectations that it will be affected by a very hot mass next week.

The United Arab Emirates also recorded temperatures in the forties in large areas, and exceeded the 45 degree Celsius barrier in the south, amid extremely hot conditions.

In addition to the Sultanate of Oman, Kuwait, and the southern desert regions of the Maghreb countries, temperatures also reached 45 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecasts at the Arab Weather Center indicate that hot weather will intensify in several Arab countries in the coming days.
