موقع ArabiaWeather.com – عمر الدجاني- بعدما فُقدوا لمدة أكثر من 48 ساعة، تمكنت قوات سلاح الجو الملكي وبالتعاون مع مديرية الأمن العام من العثور على 4 مواطنين فقدوا في منطقة وادي العقر شرق قاعدة زايد الجوية العسكرية بنحو 45 كيلومتراً، و ذلك على إثر انهيارات جبلية وطينية نتجت عن عاصفة مسرة الشتوية الماطرة التي أثرت على المنطقة قبل أيام.
المواطنون الأربعة كانوا قد هربوا من المياه الجارفة التي كادت أن تودي بحياتهم، ثم تقطّعت بهم السبل وفقد الإتصال بهم لفترة زمنية طويلة ، فقامت طائرة تابعة لسلاح الجو وطائرة تابعة لمديرية الأمن العام بالبحث المكثف و التحري بشكل دقيق و متواصل عن المواطنين المفقودين و لم يعرف عنهم شيء لأكثر من يومين.
و لدى العثور عليهم في منطقة وادي العقر المعزولة والبعيدة عن السُكان، كانت حالة المفقودين الصحية الصحية سيئة ومتدهورة جراء ما عانوه.
