موقع ArabiaWeather.com- سنان خلف – بعد 7 أيام من البحث المُتواصل تمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية أخيراً و بالتعاون مع فريق "عون" للإنقاذ الشراعي وفرق الأمن والدفاع المدني وعدد من المتطوعين من العثور على "مفقود المحاني" ميتاً نتيجة العطش والجوع وحرارة الشمس الحراقة بعد أن تقطعت به السُبل وسط الصحراء.
وكانت الجهات الأمنية في منطقة الطائف قد تلقت قبل قرابة الأسبوع بلاغاً يُفيد بفقدان المواطن غازي بن صالح العازمي العتيبي والبالغ من العمر 65 عاماً وسط الصحراء، وفور تلقيها البلاغ تحركت الأجهزة المعنية وباشرت عمليات البحث والإنقاذ التي تمت تحت إشرافٍ مباشر من مديرية شرطة الطائف بمشاركة من 150 فرداً من رجال الأمن إضافة إلى عدد من من الضباط، واستُخدمت خلال حملة البحث عن المفقود الطائرات بمعدل 5 طلعات جوية.
وذكرت صحيفة سبق الألكترونية عبر موقعها أن المفقود كان يُعاني من مرض السكري، كما ونشرت الصحيفة مجموعة من الصور توثق اللحظات التي تم العثور فيها على جثة المتوفي.
