قررت السلطات العراقية الثلاثاء، تعطيل الدوام الرسمي في البلاد خلال اليومين المقبلين بسبب ارتفاع درجات الحرارة التي تجاوزت 50 درجة، وفق بيان رسمي.

 

وجاء في البيان "قرر مجلس الوزراء تعطيل الدوام الرسمي يومي الأربعاء والخميس لارتفاع درجات الحرارة إلى 50 درجة مئوية وأكثر بناء على تقرير الهيئة العامة الجوية والرصد الزلزالي".

 

ونصحت وزارة الصحة المواطنين بالابتعاد عن أشعة الشمس.

 

وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة، أحمد الرديني، إن "ارتفاع درجات الحرارة يؤثر على جميع أنحاء جسم الإنسان ولاسيما لدى الأطفال وكبار السن".

 

ويتوقع بمشيئة الله أن تسجل الحرارة في بعض المناطق في العراق 54 مئوية، وخاصة في أقصى جنوب شرق العراق مثل البصرة.

 

ويوضح طقس العرب سبب هذه الموجة الحارة إلى تعمق كبير لمنخفض الهند الموسمي نحو وسط وشرق السعودية تزامنا مع ارتفاع الضغط الجوي فوق إيران، ما يعمل على اندفاع كتلة شديدة الحرارة من غرب إيران نحو شرق السعودية والكويت والعراق.

 

ويجب الانتباه من الوقوف المباشر تحت أشعة الشمس والإكثار من شرب السوائل وكذلك تناول الفواكه والخضروات.
