Large amounts of moisture flowing into the middle and upper layers of the atmosphere from the southwest, coupled with the continued influence of a hot air mass over the region, led to the formation of thunderstorm clouds over random areas of the Kingdom.

The weather activity was concentrated in the southeastern and eastern regions of the Kingdom, where thunderstorms were active, accompanied by occasional heavy thunderstorms and strong to strong downward winds that stirred up waves of dense dust, significantly reducing horizontal visibility in some desert areas.

The impact of these thunderstorms also extended to parts of the central region, including eastern Amman, where some neighborhoods witnessed thunderstorms amid hot weather.
