موقع ArabiaWeather.com – بثت مؤسسة "سميثسونيان الأمريكية للتعليم والأبحاث" مقطع فيديو يُظهر نبتة الـ "كورنيفوروس" التي تقتات على آلاف الحشرات في الساعة الواحدة.

 

ويظهر الفيديو آلاف الحشرات التي تمكنت النبتة من جذبهم نحوها من خلال إفرازاتها ذات الحلاوة العالية، لكن ما إن ينجح بعضها في الحصول على الطعام، حتى تتحول هذه النبتة إلى آلة معقدة للقتل، حيث تتحول الإفرازات لى مادة لزجه تؤدي إلى سقوط الحشرات في داخل النبتة، حيث توجد مياه الأمطار ومادة أسيدية تعمل على القضاء عليها.

 

واللافت أن هذه النبتة تبتلع نحو 6 آلاف حشرة في الساعة الواحدة، ما يجعلها واحدة من أخطر النباتات وأكثرها دهاء.
