موقع Arabiaweather.com - نسترجع في موضوعنا هذا ذكريات أحد المنخفضات الجوية الرئيسية التي ضربت لبنان خلال نهاية شهر فبراير وبداية مارس 2012 م .. ففي ذلك التاريخ تعرّضت المنطقة لكتل هوائية باردة جداً قطبية المنشأ مصاحبة لمنخفض جوي ، عملَ على تساقط الثلوج الكثيفة على الجبال العالية والمتوسطة الارتفاع وصولاً الى مرتفعات منخفضة قريبة من الساحل في الشمال !
وفي مقطع الفيديو أعلاه والخاص بمحطة " Lbc اللبنانية والمنشور على موقع يوتيوب" نرى آثار العاصفة الثلجية التي غطت لبنان بالأبيض الناصغ بجبالها وسهولها ، بينما جلبت الأمطار الغزيرة والعواصف والرياح الشديدة إلى السواحل .
كما وتجدر الإشارة إلى تعرض أغلب مناطق سوريا والأردن وفلسطين أنذاك إلى أجواء قطبية ثلجية مُماثلة ، حيث غطت الثلوج بسماكات عالية أغلب الجبال بالإضافة الى العديد من المناطق الداخلية وعواصم البلدان الثلاثة بدرجات متفاوتة ..
